The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially appointed Indonesia as one of the hosts of the 2020 East Asia U-19 Cup qualifier. This was stated by the Secretary General of PSSI Queen Tisha Destria. Previously, the AFC had just decided Cambodia, China Taipei, Myanmar and Vietnam to host the eastern zone qualifiers. Queen Tisha revealed, the decision to appoint Indonesia as host was based on a letter signed by AFC Secretary General Dato Windsor John two days ago. "PSSI gives an appreciation of the AFC which has trusted PSSI by appointing us as the host of the 2020 U-19 Asian Cup," said Queen Tisha reported by the official PSSI website. "As one of the countries with the highest enthusiasm for football in the world, we will welcome this Asian public confidence by preparing the best as well." Thus, Indonesia
